Clearing acne scars can be done, and you can do it at home! You don't need to spend several hundred (or even a few thousand) dollars on surgery to achieve a noticeable difference in the quality of your skin and your scars. Natural home remedies have been around for some time, and they can help.
As nice as it would be to be able to get rid of scars really fast, know that because everyone's skin is different and different people respond to different things, you will need to experiment slightly to see what will work best for you. This is usually the bit that slows you down the most in your efforts - the testing. That said, you can do a few things to improve the speed of which you are clearing scars.
The first thing will be to go to the shops and purchase the things that you will need for your scar reduction kit. I recommend getting some baking soda, a loofah sponge (try and get a natural one if you are able to), a few lemons, a pot of honey, some apple cider vinegar and some Rosehip oil. These are all great natural remedies for treating acne scarring, and having them all in one place will help you keep consistent. Then you can put them all in a cupboard somewhere (although perhaps not the lemons) and know that you have everything you need! This is much more effective then say relying on the tub of baking soda (for example) that you have in the cupboards for your baking.
To clear scars fast, you will need to try a number of treatments. Wash your face with the apple cider vinegar. This will help to tone the skin and many have had great results with this treatment alone. Lemons are effective at reducing red or colored scars, although I suggest you perform a spot test first before you go fully into it as lemons are quite acidic and can hurt some people's skin. Make a paste of the baking soda (a few teaspoons of it to a drop of water) and massage it into the skin to help exfoliate it. Finish up with the loofah sponge and then apply Rosehip oil to help regenerate the skin.
As I'm sure you've noticed, this is a pretty intense schedule! Although if you want to fade your scars quickly, it will be necessary. I suggest that you create a wall chart and check off the treatments as you go along. Consistency is vital when you are treating acne and acne scars! As I mentioned above, there are a plethora of different treatments you can try. Just keep on trying until you find something that works for you.
